Great Beginner Crochet Project ( Left-Handed Instructions Posted )
This is the first crochet project I have started, and completed.
After following tutorials, and practice, this beanie only took a couple hours to make.
The yarn used in this project was Red Heart brand. I am not sure of the color names, or lot numbers. They were left over balls in my yarn stash.

Almost all of the tutorials I followed were Left-Handed, as I am a lefty. Right-Handed people: You will have No Problem finding numerous versions of these tutorials for you, so just search YouTube. I will help the Lefties save themselves the headache of searching, as Left-handed tutorials are not as easy to come by.

On Left-Handed Crochet:

Honestly, everyone that makes tutorials (specifically in Video form), can you mirror them for us Left-Handed people? That would be amazing. Following right-handed tutorials becomes easier over time, but it can get confusing and distracting, especially as the stitches become more involved/complicated. Thank you <3

    Step 2

    After you have Made:

    - Beanie.
    - Flower.
    - Leaves.

1.) Place Leaves & Flower on beanie to figure out where you would like them / they will look best.
    - I chose to put mine on the side.

2.) Use a crochet hook to pull the left over strands from appliques into the "wrong-side/inside of your beanie. This way, you can put it on and look in the mirror to decide if this is the final look you want before sewing them on.

3.) Use those strands from the ends of your appliques to sew them on to your beanie. I used a yarn needle.
    - I chose to sew the leaves just inside of the edge so that the leaves still had a bit of curl to add dimension. If you want them more flat, just sew the edges down.
NOTE: If you did not leave enough yarn on the ends, Do Not Panic! Simply tie on more of the same-color yarn to that end.

4.) Put on your beanie, and enjoy! Take a picture to show off your work!
