Poor guy can't turn his head around like all the other owls.
This guy was my very first project! I planned it around the materials available to me at the time, which were a few colors of fleece fabric and thread. The entire thing was made by hand, including stitching the perimeter shut.

I learned that you should definitely pre-plan for the actual size of the project to be smaller after it is sewed shut, flipped right-side-out, and stuffed.

The tail, feet, and wings were not part of the body and were stuffed separately and stitched onto the body.

I added black circles slightly larger than the eyes behind of the white eyeball fabric for more definition, as well as a black decorative running stitch around the perimeter of the white portion.

There are also decorative running stitches going around the perimeter of the beak and the black piece on the tail.
