I bought a secondhand sewing machine a few weeks ago. My mother is teaching me how to use it (She is a wonder at sewing! I help her with computerstuff in return).

This is my first creation: Fish Application
I'm sort of happy with the result. I zigzagged the edges of the application, but the fabric started to buldge. Ironing helped, but after washing you have to iron it again. If anyone has a tip or advice for that problem (besides setting the zigzag wider), I'd love to hear it!
