My daughter wanted to know how you make a pie and I realised that I have never made a pie when she has been about.
Crumbles, tarts, quiches, we have made them all, but never a pie. Although she has made pastry with me before.
So I talked her through the simple steps and this is her first attempt, with a puff pastry top.
