Finger Knit Flower

A pretty flower for your valentine.

Need a quick gift for your valentine? Make a flower of admiration that will never wilt. (That was pretty lame huh?)

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Take one end of your finger knitting and begin to curl it. Spiral it once. If the end of yours is narrow like mine, do three spirals.

    Also, try to keep the spiral(s) flat.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Thread your yarn needle with yarn the same color as your finger knitting. If you don't have one handy, you can use a weaving needle.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Begin to weave the spiral together, but not too tight.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Keep spiraling and weaving the knitting together. You should end up with this.


  5. Step 5

    Thread the other colored string and thread it through the yarn needle. Weave in and out through the center, making it look like the center of a flower.

    (My camera died about now. I'll post some pictures of this and the finished product later. D:)

  6. Step 6

    Attach to bobby pin, barette or a small branch. And ta-da! We now have a flower! Enjoy! (:
