Description

So pretty much this is weaving with your fingers. You can make these as great gifts, you can do them everywhere, too!! I know I am making one on my plane ride in a few days..

Instructions

  1. Small photo on 2011 03 30 at 16.16 1301516864

Take your yarn and knot the end onto your thumb(For Righties, on your left hand and for Lefties on your right thumb.).(Thumbs up for a good slip knot!!)

Now start weaving, you know, in out in out.

  3. Small photo on 2011 03 30 at 16.18 1301517031

At the end of that row, turn it around and weave again. Do this until there is two loops on each finger.

Now take the bottom loop and pick it up over the top loop and slide it off your finger. This step can be in a slow or fast pace.

  5. After all of those fingers have only one loop on each, weave a row again. You should come back with the two loops on one finger thing. Do the same thing like step 4. Slide the bottom loop off the top finger.

After doing this for a while you should have a tail.

Once you are satisfied with the length, its time to cast off. Take all of your finger loops off of your fingers. Slide them onto one finger.

Now pinch them tight and with your yarn or string, wrap it around the loops.

  9. Cut your yarn 3 inches from your wrapping. Put the yarn through the loops. Look at your wrap. Pick up one of those twirls you have made. Insert your yarn through there. Now twirl it around a few times. When you feel like its secure, you can do whatever with it!!

    Hope you enjoy it!!
