the longest part is the wait time between adding texture to dry and then the acrylic paint to dry, and then the hodgepodge to dry. You choose if you want to add texture or just prepare your canvas to paint, and then what colour you want as the background. I cut out the kitties from a border I have had for years, knowing I would do something someday with it!!! cut out whatever you love and just modgepodge it/them on. Dry, enjoy. or give to others to enjoy!
