Skirts were never easier to make.
1
Measure your waistline and hip width. Measure from your waistline down how long you want the skirt to be.
Draw a pattern on pattern paper based on your measurements.
Cut out and take over on fabric twice (front and back of skirt).
2
Sew two coupe seams in the front and back part. The coupe seams in the front part should be a little longer than the ones in the back.
3
Sew the two parts on the right side together. Sew the zipper in the left side.
For a very clear instruction on how to sew zippers look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm16F2xM-Bk
4
Repeat the above with the fabric for the inside skirt (lining of the skirt). Make it about 5 cm shorter than the felt skirt. Instead of the zipper, leave an opening that is 2 com shorter than the zipper.
5
Sew the felt skirt and the lining together on the top of the skirt.
6
Use sharp cissors to cut the skirt to the right length.
I used embroidering thread and dragonfly beads to decorate it.
Done!
