Felt Dolls

Felt Dolls Made for Anyone of Anyone!

These are great little gifts that are cheap and simple to make.
My mother has made a Mr T doll.
I have made a Bubble Devire Doll (from Little Britain) and a Bill (from Tokio Hotel )Doll for my Cousin Chelz.

Fold felt in half and Trace outline of body. Pin together felt and outline. Cut around the felt getting 2 bodies.
Add felt hair on the inside of one of the body sides or add by sewing or gluing later.
Sew Sides together leaving a space for stuffing.
You can use Whip stitch, Blanket stitch or a running stitch all are fine.
Make sure the hole you leave is big enough for you to put the stuffing in with!
You will Find where you have missed bits sewing when you've stuffed your doll, fix these with simple stitches a few times!
Insert Stuffing making sure that stuffing is pushed all the way to the tips of the limbs and sew closed.
Decorate by using felt to make clothing and fabric paint to paint distinguishing features on their face.
Accessories are a must as they make the character.
For my bubble's Doll i made her a towel out of a Face washer to cover he nakedness. I made a bling for Mr T with a cheap bracelet i had lying around. Bill has a tokio hotel t-shirt and wrist bands!
Decorate and go Crazy! Make Family members,friends , fav actors or anyone you can think of!
