  1. Step 1

    Step 1

1.A print of a shoe any size.-
2.Tracing paper to map out picture.-
3.Felt, your variety of colors, without adhesive is unproblematic to work with.-
4.Some other material. I used some microfiber scrapes from furniture store samples.-
    5.And some thread and needle.-

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Now if you can see there are two shoe patterns in the template;
One has a sole the other does not.
First grab the pattern with the sole.
Put it on some felt and cut it out.
Next take the temp without the sole and do the same.
Place it on the other like so and stitch these two together.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Use the other two template pieces to cut out these shapes and sew them on. You will recognize where to stitch up according to your shoe.
I would now take the pattern of just the sole that we cut earlier from white felt and add it to the piece.
Stitch it in place so it is double thickness and jumps out a bit. sew it on. Cut a thin strip of black and add it to the sole. Pay close attention to the angles of your shoe to create the right kind of illusion.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

This is how I did it. It is fairly simple. Good Luck!
