Felt Boxes

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Take a felt square and cut out two small squares at either side in the middle.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Fold over an edge at the side of the square so that it lays flat below the inner line of the square.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Fold over the over edge and pin in place.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Turn the now pyramid shaped felt upside down and pin along the open edge.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Repeat the previous steps with the other side and square hole. Push the shape out and it should stand up on it's own.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Take a needle and thread and sew along the edges of the box.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Decorate with buttons, beads, sequins or felt shapes.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

    Fill with useful things and get organised.
