Since I'm low on cash, I decided to muster up all the creative bones in my body and make my sister's graduation present. Since she took Japanese for 4 years and is a fan of My Neighbor Totoro, it seemed logical to make these guys out of felt.

Since it was a spur of the moment project, I didn't make patterns. I simply sketched out the first one then drew the design onto the felt an inch or wider than the original, (since it would get narrow when stuffed) and put my needle and thread to work. For the stuffing, I used poly-fil that has been sitting around my room.
