I started buying felt pieces and for the longest time didn't know what to do with it. My little light went on, and creativemind went to work. Voila!!

Instructions

  1. Small 15545

If you using tie dyed print, of course it will be the front piece, you will need another piece of a contrasting color. Cut the two pieces of felt 4 X 2 inches each and start the blanket stitch from the front side. To start, from the front and back through the front again, then pull threaded end through loop and continue around.

  2. Small 15546

Once you have done most of the stitching around done, cut and insert piece of foam. This is just to make it a little sturdy.

  3. Small 15547

Continue to stitch and pull end through first loop.

  4. Small 15548

Tie off ends, cut and apply fabric glue.

  5. Small 15549

You can either sew on or glue on barret. I chose to glue mine.

  6. Small 15550

And there you have a cool hair accessory!!
