Cute felt flowers that can be used as keyrings, brooches or hairpins
So these are my little felt flowers I have spent the afternoon creating :)

    Step 1

    First of all cut out 5 rectangles of felt, Approx, 2 inches bye 1.5 Inches. (5cm x 4cm)

    Stack the five rectangles on top of each other, and cut a leaf shape out of the stack, so they are all the same shape and size

    Pinch one end of the leaf shape annnnndddd.....

    ......Thread it onto the needle

    Add each of the leaves to the needle in the same way.

    Step 6

    Once you have done this thread the needle back through all of the leaves in a loop. So going through the first leaf again

    Step 7

    Flatten the leaves out and arrange them so they look like a flower. You may need to sew them into place a little.

    Step 8

    Next cut some smaller rectangles from a contrasting colour of felt. Approx 1 Inch x 2 Inches (3 cm x 5 cm) and in the same way make these into the leaf shapes.

    Step 9

    Again thread the leaf shapes onto the thread and arrange them on the current blue leaves. You may need to sew them into place

    Step 10

    Finally sew a button into the middle, covering up any sewing you may have done

    Annnd Voila!

Your welcome. Im gonna try and put up a tutorial soon for my better flowers that I have designed. They are still felt but the petals are curved, makes the flower look much more attractive. Keep an eye out for it. Congrats on your wedding x

I decided to make another version similar to this, except you tack the outer edge of the petal too. Gives more dimension. Tute soon I promise
