Well, I'm familiar with two Michael's stores and in both cases the dollar bins are near the registers. Basically just stacked bins of one-dollar items like stationary and and ribbon and all kinds of little craft items. It's not in a specific section. If you go to Michael's and ask, they should be able to direct you to them.
I got these bottles recently so hopefully they still have them, and carried them at yours. But keep your eyes peeled! I've got some really, really tiny glass vials I got in a nail art kit filled with tiny rhinestones. You never know where you might find a bottle.
This is awesome! I really want to make it, but I can't find a bottle. You said you got yours in a dollar bin at Michaels, where was this "bin"? I doubt all Michael stores are the same, but I mean is it near the front door or in a special aisle (I.E.: Jewelry Aisle) A reply or other suggestion wold be greatly appreciated.
