Create A Finished Card Using The Faux Tile Background Technique
How to finish your card after creating the faux tiled piece.

Step 1
First, create the faux tile piece using the Faux Tile Background tutorial.

Step 2
Create a 6" x 7" card base from white cardstock.

Step 3
Layer the background piece onto a 5 1/2" square of patterned paper and adhere it using the tape runner.

Step 4Place a piece of double sided tape along the bottom edge of the background and patterned paper piece. Cut the tape a little longer than the width of these and wrap it around to the back of it.

Step 5
Add the ribbon over the top of the tape and wrap the ends around to the back.

Step 6
Attach the piece to the card base using the tape runner.

Step 7
Stamp the sentiment onto the lower right corner.

Step 8
You know have a beautiful finished card to share.
