I thought there would have been heaps of these projects but nope so I thought I'd add mine. I used a soldering pen to create the holes in the plastic and there is some weaving involved between the double sided letters to keep them together. In between I knotted the string 4 times. I also used this technique to make a key ring, necklace and earrings...

With so many computers and parts being outdated and thrown away, it is nice to see something becoming of them. You can spell things out, too.
I have some novelty keys that were supposed to be put on my keyboard. (a red "panic", yellow "Oh $h!+", and white "any") They may not be making it to my keyboard now! LOL

haha i like the $h!+ combo that's great. And the best thing is my hubby is manager for a computer store and I have a whole heaps of keys i can access from lap top to old school and so many different colours...Personally i like the chunky keys!!
