Place the two fabric pieces on top of one another and fold neatly. Do this for the other side as well. Iron both sides and then sew across.
Place the zipper on top of the fabric and then sew across.
Bring the remaining fabric piece up and attach the zipper onto it by sewing it on the reverse side. You may need to open the zipper to do this neatly.
This is how your pencil case should look after you've sewn the zippers onto the fabic.
Next turn the bag inside out and sew on both sides to keep the bag closed.
Your pencil case will look like this after you've sewn the sides together.
Add decorations to make your pencil case an original. Anything from lace to ribbion or rhinestones. And there you have it your complete trendy and fashionable very own pencil case
Perfect for storing art supplies such as scissors, markers and glue.

I like it... may have to do that for back to school. First I need to get rid of the ugly green one I bought though...
