A fancier take on the good old tee scarf
I saw this scarf in many places around the web, and loved it! I decided to take it a step further and decorate it with fake pearls.

    Step 1

    Prepare your highly elaborate equipment and materials:
    An old brightly colored tee
    Scissors
    A strand of fake plastic pearls

    Cut your shirt right below the sleeves, and you're supposed to remain with a rectangular piece of fabric

    Start cutting your fringe from the side where the sleeves were up to a couple of inches from the hem (behold my crappy fabric cutting skills! fear them!)

    When you're finished cutting, the scarf in making will look similar to the picture

    Step 5

    Pull the fringe a bit so it curls and becomes thinner and longer

    Cut up your pearl strand into shorter versions. Mine were already glued to the strand, but if yours are'nt you can tie the ends or paint them with clear nail polish

    Sew your strands between the fringes.
    I had just enough to do a 2-2 pattern (two strands followed by two empty spaces)

    VERY IMPORTANT STEP!!!
    Take a wierd and silly pic of yourself rocking your new scarf!
