Simple mohair fan-and-feathers pattern cover-up
This is a simple shawl pattern made with two balls of purple mohair wool held together on large needles to create the open cobwebby look. However, because when I finished it I found it wasn't long enough for a proper wrap, I sewed up the ends to make armholes, creating a loose but still quite warm shrug, perfect for putting over a strapless dress. Sorry about the lousy picture though!

Beautiful! And what a great idea to sew the ends together to make arm holes. Loose shawls and wraps tend to get in the way and by the end of the evening I'm sick of them...
