A skirt from a old sheet. :)
This is a skirt I made for my family studies class. Technically we had to reuse old clothing to make something wearable, but I made a skirt out of a old sheet instead. It was very easy, it's really just 6 rectangles sewn together, and I think that the only reason it took me this long was because I've never sewn anything before, and I had to do all the gathering by hand. Let me tell you, 70 year old sewing machines are not fun to work with. :P But I did end up with a pretty skirt for my mum. :D
