I saw necklaces like this with normal fabric like everywhere and when I bought the white styrofoam balls I thought, why not try it with black lace?

Sew a tube

Put in a styrofoam ball

You cann now either make a knot ..

...or bind it together with a thread.

Keep going.
I finished the necklace with black beads and attached a bow, and of course strings on each end. :)
