Fairy Cat Doll

Why have a ordinary cat when yours can have wings ?

A cute toy, thats easy to make. I made it from old clothes, so it cost me nothing.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Double over your main fabric, mark in the cat outline and pin the edges.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Cut it out and stitch the edges, you can use a sewing machine if you prefer.

  3. Step 3

    Leave a gap, turn inside out and stuff your cat.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Use a small,thin piece of your main fabric for a tail and stitch on.

  5. Step 5

    Bunch up the netting until you are happy with a wing shape, pin and cut out.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Stitch to the back, and repeat for the other wing.

    Find a scrap of fabric for the inside ear. I used a silk heart (they were stolen from the netting). Pin to the ear and stitch on.

    Use a triangle scrap of fabric for the nose ,stuff it if you like.

    Stitch on buttons for the eyes, mine are different sizes, but you can use what you like.

    Your fairy cat is done now !!
