I've made 12 of these little fairies, each unique, for my daughter. When she has a special request she makes her wishes on her fairies with a kiss before she goes to bed.
While "treasure hunting" (thrift shopping) I look for the bags of fabric leis and silk flowers to repurpose for the fairies skirts.
Craft store: wooden bead (head), embroidery floss (hair), wire covered in floral tape (body), Elmer's glue, and colored pencils (face).
Inspiration came from a partial but book intact Klutz Kit: Petal People You Make Yourself. I found at the Goodwill! Lucky me again! :)
