Crafts

Instructions

  1. 1

    1. Choose a gift and a piece of fabric

If you only had a few small scraps, you could sew them together and create a cool patch effect. When choosing a fabric, consider who it is for. If it is another crafty friend, you can use smaller pieces and they will be able to creates something else like a pencil bag or a pillow. If it is not a crafty friend, choose a shirt or a scarf to wrap it in.

  2. Step 2 2

    2. Fold sides to the middle and sew

take the fabric and wrap it around the gift. if the fabric is larger, you may have to circle it a few times. Then where you would put tape on paper, sew a running stitch or a whip stitch. You don't have to sew the entire length just enough to keep it together. Make sure that the stitches will be easily removed.

  3. Step 3 3

    3. Fold in other sides and sew

like you would paper, fold in the ends to make a triangle, fold it up, and sew a small stitch. Make sure you catch the bottom layer

  4. Step 4 4

    4. Add a card

If there is room enough for the card between folds, stick it in. if not, you can sew a small stitch in the corner of the card to the front of the package.

  5. 5

    5. your finished!

you have now gotten rid of some scraps, wrapped your gift, and are on the road to becoming more green.!
