You Will Need

Step 1Cut the hexagon
Cut out several hexagons out of cardboards; more than 7 pieces. Cut out more than 7 pieces of hexagonal fabric larger than the cardboard piece; cut the up and down edges to tooth shape as it shows below. Place a hexagonal cardboard in the middle of a hexagonal fabric. Fold the redundant edges of the fabric. -
Step 2Piece the hexagonal fabric
Sew redundant edges of the fabric. Make the other piece in the same way; sew the junctions of the two. Repeat sewing another four pieces to make a circle. Turn the finished circle to the right side. -
Step 3Form a flower
Make another hexagon; put it inside and sew. You can sew another circle to make the coaster larger as you like.
