my contribution to the world of fabric coasters!
I wanted a *manly* fabric for one side of these as they are destined for my dad and stepmother - Ikea to the rescue again for the wood grain fabric!
The coloured fabric is also Ikea but recycled from my daughters old curtains. The fleece I used for batting is from her old pyjamas which are so washed out that they're not even good enough for the charity shop!

Nikki, it's around the curtain section. Check it out online (and it'll tell you if it's available in your local), they have a reasonable selection with some heavier weight fabric (like this). Great for bags etc where you want sturdier material.

Where do you find fabric in ikea? I've only seen curtains when I went looking for fabric.
