WITH stuff i had in the house i manage to take the empty area behind my front door and my entertainment center and turn it into a entry way orgainzier.
I got some hooks and screwed them on the wall and put the baby's coats on top then the 5 year olds and then mine and the hubby's. I then took a book shelf out of my daughters room that she was not using and tucked it in and put all of our shoes on. Once we find our umbrellas I will put them in a small blue bucket by the books shelf. I also put a rug by the door. The color theme is blue, dont really match my living room but the bright/bold color will bring attention to it so the family can start making a habbit of taking shoes and coats off by the door instead of it being scattered.
