My boyfriend proposed the day after Thanksgiving :D He said he'd really like to get his wedding band and wear it now because the wedding won't be for at least another year and a half, so for Christmas I'm giving it to him in this cute little box I made.

I got a little wooden box at the craft store, attached a wooden peg on the inside for the ring to slide around, painted the whole thing and then varnished a picture of us inside the lid. The picture is one I gave him framed for our first Christmas together, which was 4 wonderful years ago. I figure he can set the box on his dresser by the framed photo. I can't wait for him to see it!

Besides all the waiting for coats of paint to dry, it was probably about an hour I spent actively working on it.
