I made these for my then best friend about one and a half years ago when I wanted to give her a keepsake because we couldn't see each other so often due to our busy lives. We agreed to meet after Winter because with that season passed we were less busy with work and school. During Winter the mittens would allow her to remind herself of our friendship. I sent them to her though she never received them... they got lost in mail :(
