brighten up a boring shopping bag!
I got this idea from a post from the Guardian website.

I made it for my boyfriend's Mum, now I want it or want to give it to my mum!

    Get a plain, jute shopping bag, mine is from Tesco, can sew over the ladybird design.
    Then design your pattern on a piece of paper, just a rough idea - can always create as you go along.

    To begin I cut out the leaf templates and sewed them on using a simple stitch.

    Next cut out the flowers, I simply made petals and sewed around them in various stitches.

    I used a combination of chain stitch, lazy daisy stitch, fern stitch and straight stitch.

    The next step is just to use your creativity and sew things like buttons and beads on.
