brighten up a boring shopping bag!
I got this idea from a post from the Guardian website.
I made it for my boyfriend's Mum, now I want it or want to give it to my mum!
You Will Need

Step 1Get a plain, jute shopping bag, mine is from Tesco, can sew over the ladybird design.
Then design your pattern on a piece of paper, just a rough idea - can always create as you go along. -
Step 2To begin I cut out the leaf templates and sewed them on using a simple stitch.

Step 3Next cut out the flowers, I simply made petals and sewed around them in various stitches.

Step 4I used a combination of chain stitch, lazy daisy stitch, fern stitch and straight stitch.

Step 5The next step is just to use your creativity and sew things like buttons and beads on.

Step 6And then ta da you've created a lovely eco friendly shopping bag!
