I really wanted one of those book purses but I love books too much (no matter how bad they are) to rip one apart, so I decided to make it from scratch. The "book" cover was entirely hand-embroidered and took me forever but I'm so happy with it :)

I'd gladly make a how-to but there was so much trial and error in the making of this purse that I don't think I'm able to sort out of all my mistakes the right way to do it again.
