looks kinda mossy
I was watching my husband play a LOT of Zelda this past winter and I guess some of it stuck with me when I was making these slippers.

I just started knitting a shape I thought looked like my foot and pulled and stretched it around until it looked like this. I used some fuzzy yarn I got on sale and made the buttons from polymer clay. Somehow I was able to duplicate the pattern, not just for the other foot! but for a whole other pair to give to a friend as a house warming gift.

I would love to knit these! Do you have any suggestions in terms of pattern that would be useful to a newbie?
