these are a fun little wall hanging that you can do on a rainy day. its a grate way to get your kids to try Embroidery and sewing for the first time

    first i picked the type of pattern i wanted to use. i printed this one about 4 years ago from runo's website.

    i will be makeing a green man for this haw to.

    then we trace out the templates. this is the time where you would do the Embroidery to the face and body if thats what you want.

    then we cut it out. save the scraps for add-on's latter

    using scraps i make leafs and arrange them

    i then Embroider and stich on

    i then stich together the pattern using a overcast stich and stuff

    also using overcast stiches attach the head as firmly as possable. you dont want it to slouch

    then using the same stich attach the stuffed arms. makeing shure the thumbs are both faceing forword... it looks kinda funny wen thay arnt

    this is wen you can pus add-on's. in this case a leaf. but it could be wings or flippers

    and as a last touch we add a loop so that it can be hung on the wall
