I have a passion for paper! I love to use it anyway I can!and on this web-site I have found heaven....well my kinda heaven!
A couple of years ago in a charity shop I found an old music book for 50p. When I first bought it I started to use it for backing papers on my cards, I could stamp on it, emboss, the ideas are endless!
I then used some for covering my paper beads.
Now I am using it for paper weaving and I still have loads left!
I laminated the mats, but my laminator found it hard to swallow some of the thick paper so I braved it and got out the iron!:0( I put the mat between the laminator packet and then covered it with a cotton tea towel and ironed!Making sure I didn't iron onto any plastic and again it worked!I had to flip it over and do both sides but volia! It works for me....at any thickness!
