  • How to make a masquerade. Easy Masks & Ties - Step 1
    Step 1

Design your mask's patterns. I recomend you take measures on a living model (yourself for instance). Fold a sheet of paper and draw half the mask, this way when you cut the mask it will be even.
The ties are so much easier, I recomend to cut it in one piece. Unless your foam is too small and you want a larger tie, then try doing it in two parts then patch it together.
Note: Consider who you are doing it for, if it is for children the pattern will obviously be smaller than for adults. This applies for both, ties and masks.

    Step 2

Copy the patterns on the foam and cut it.
Carefull with the eyes on the masks, make sure they are big enough to fit comfortably.

    Step 3

Decorate. Get creative and decorate the masks and ties. It would be as easy as you want.
Use the needle to pierce the foam and tie the thread around it.
