You can achieve highlights without going to the salon or buying hair dye. All you have to do is visit your cabinet!
I do this when I want to go back to blond. My hair is naturally a dark blond but because I color my hair a lot it's hard for me to get back to my natural color. So I usually just do this every other day and it makes my hair color look even. Good luck!

Get your items together:
Peroxide
Lemon juice
Spray bottle -

You want to fill the spray bottle with mostly peroxide then add some lemon juice.
I never measure it :/

Mix it up and then start to spray in the desired area.

It's best to go out in the sunlight when doing this because the sun on its own will lighten hair but with the peroxide and lemon the results will be much more dramatic.

And tada! Your hair is now lightened
