Make your own easy braided boot straps

Pimp your boots with easy to make and removable straps!

Gather your materials:

- Some leatherrests or fabric you want
- some metal rings
- scissors
- glue
- chain
(- eyelets)

Cut the straps...

The length should be around 25 cm of each strap.
Then I cut one with a width of 2 cm and the other of 4 cm.

Cut the wider strap in three strangs to braid it.

Braid it...

(Hot) glue the ends to fix it.

Glue the end to the ring

Do the same with the other strap.

Fit it on your boot and glue the ends together

Fix a ring on the chain...

...and put the two rings togehter

Then make a hole in the other side or use eyelets.

Here you can fix the other end of the chain.

To get a little Western touch cut the excess fabric in small stripes.
