Here is my tutorial on an Easter egg yo-yo. It has been a while since I made one and I couldn't remember what I used for a template last time. So I ended up using my Wilton sugar egg mold. After I was all done I think last time I used a real large cookie cutter. You can always draft your own pattern too. Next time I will make the bottom wider and the top a little narrower and a lot longer to give a better egg shape. I think these would be cute as a garland, or mobile, hanging on an Easter tree. I think the cutest place would either be an Easter apron or a little girls Easter pinafore.

Cut out yo-yo egg.

this image is the second template used, version two.
I like the shape of the second egg much better than the one I did first, when I used a Wilton Sugar egg form; the second was using that cookie cutter I couldn't find earlier. Play around with it a little and decide what will work for you the best. The handwritten measurements you see to the left and right on the eggs are taken at the tallest and widest parts of the egg.
