Recipe is
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1Mix your flour, baking soda and baking powder in a small bowl and set to the side.

Step 2Mix your softened butter and sugar together with a mixer

Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 4Slowly add in your flour mixture.
Set your dough in the fridge for an hour.

Step 5In small bowls seperate your dough and add your food coloring to your desired colors.

Step 6Choose a color and roll it into a ball.

Step 7Choose your following colors and roll into long strands- wrap around the ball.

Step 8Press your colors together to make sure that they don't fall apart.

Step 9Cut in half and place on baking sheet.

Step 10Just make sure you give your cookies plenty of room or else this can happen!
