The idea of these earrings came to my mind while I was searching for something in our garage und found a bunch of washers. I took them to my room and thought about making earrings out of them. But I wanted earrings in many different colours, so I took a needle and thread and made me these earrings. I love them, cause you can make them in every colour and they're really easy to make!
I'm making me also a necklace, but it will take a while until I'm ready.

take two ( or many more ) washers and bore holes in them. With,for example, wire make a ring through the hole. The ring is later for the earring hook.

Now take a needle and thread of the colour you like. Remember to take enough thread. For this size of washer I take 4x85cm. It's easier and it goes faster if you put the thread two times through the neede.

The next step is easy to quess.
Just go round the washer with the needle. At the beginning you can make f.ex. a knot in order to prevent the thread from slipping away.. -
With the thread go all around the washer and at the end you can again make a knot, or what I make is, I pull the end of the thread under the thread that goes round the washer,, ( oh oh.. my explanations really are bad :/ )

and this is it how it looks from the back side. The only thing that is left is the earring hook!
And now you're ready and you can make many more of these if you like (:
