i have an outrageous amount of earrings, and they were all over the place, and hard to find my favorites. hubby found a little, inexpensive shelf at a dollar store, and installed it on the wall for me. i had several mis-matched wine and cordial glasses, but you can pick up some very pretty ones at thrift shops and flea markets for very cheap, sometimes only 25 cents to a dollar each. and then, all that you need to do is hook the earrings over the edge of the glasses and set the glasses on the shelf. ones that are post earrings, and do not have hooks go inside the glasses. i have mine according to color on each glass, but i am just strange that way! it gets your earring organised and out of the way, but you can still easily find ones you want.
