This Necklace is made from Shrinky Dink with a lot of glitter and some rhinestones.
This Necklace is made from Shrinky Dink with a lot of glitter and some rhinestones.
First: Get the Design what you want or print this one out.
Print it out
This is what you need!
Make sure, that your Design fits on the Shrinky Dink Paper. Staple it, so that it don't slip away.
Cut it out.
Colour it with some pencils. I use Polycromos from Faber Castel, but every other pencil or marker work, too!
Punch holes in your design, so that you can put a chain later on it.
Heat the oven to 150°C
Put your design on some backing paper in the oven and let it shrink until it's even again. Take it out of the oven, but please remember, it's very hot!!!!
Cover your whole design with some embossing powder and put it back in the oven until the embossing powder is clear. Let it some minutes try outside the oven but please don't tough it, because then it smears. Remember it's really hot when it comes out of the oven!!!!
Put a chain on your design
Add the rhinestones.
