Too long to be shorts, to short to be pants...shpantz! My boyfriend started calling these shpantz after he saw me wearing them. (;

This is the first thing I've ever sewn, everything else has been a tangled piece of fabric-y crap, I don't know what happened but suddenly I can sew...whatever, its happy.

There's a photo of the pants in their original state, one of the drawing of the idea I had for them, and a scrap piece of fabric sewn in and buttoned on the sides to keep the zipper from rubbing on my stomach.

My roomie thinks I should embelish them somehow, as they remind her of a uniform, any ideas? I usually wear black, this was my way of adding color to my wardrobe.
