These gloves are worked flat and then seamed to make the thumbhole.

  1. Step 1

    Using size 7 needles and worsted weight yarn (I used Vanna's Choice from Lion Brand for these), cast on 34 stitches.

  2. Step 2

    R1 – R8: 2 x 2 ribbing

    R9 – R36: Stockinette stitch

    R37 – R38: 1 x 1 ribbing


  3. Step 3

    Bind off.

  4. Step 4

    Make two.

    Seam sides, leaving a hole about halfway up for the thumb.
