Door "Snake"

These are nice to keep out a cold draft if you have drafty doors like I do!

My grandma had one of these we called Sammy when I was a little girl. I used to love to wear it around my neck. Fittingly, I'm calling mine Sammie 2.0s

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Fold your fabric in half long ways.

  2. Step 2

    Cut it as long as your doorway is wide.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Cut out ears from felt. If you want you can stitch around the edges to make it look nice, but you don't have to.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Stitch ears on the right side of the fabric to end that will be the head.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Sew down the long side of the fabric, and curve down towards the end to make the shape of the dog's head.

    Trim around the curved end.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Flip right side out.

    Fill with dried beans.

  7. Step 7

    Stitch end closed.
