*Works best for 1/6 scale dolls*

Hey everyone, A while back I was browsing a book store and in a Japanese cookbook I found a recipe for dango, but I didn't have time to make it so I thought I'd be creative and make some dango for my Pullip dolls^^

(Sorry about the pictures I know they're not the greatest ^^; )

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Gather all the materials:
    * Scissors
    *Ruler (to measure in cm.)
    *Toothpick
    *Needle
    * Model magic clay in red, green and white (Red can be substitute for pink so you can have one less step to do)

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Cut off 2cm. on both sides of a toothpick (as shown in the picture).

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Take some red and white clay and mix them together to get pink. You may skip this step if you already have pink model magic clay. (Note: If the clay after you mix it still looks sort of red you should add more white to make it lighter).

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Take a tiny bit of each color and roll them in to round balls. Make sure they are all about the same size. Otherwise your dango will turn out sort of wonky.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

This part is a bit tricky because the ball might become mishapen, poke a hole in one side of the ball with the needle. DO NOT PUSH IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH! If you push it all the way through excess clay gets on your needle and the ball will become mishapen. Instead take out the needle out of the first side you poked. Then poke the other side until it pushes through. You may need to expand the size of the hole in order to get it around the toothpick securely (moving the needle in a circular motion around the holes will work). Do this to all three of your clay balls.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Once you have poked holes through all of your clay pieces carefully slide them onto your toothpick in this order: Pink is at the top, then white and green is on the bottom.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

TA DA! Your finished and the picture at the right is what the finished product should look like. ( It wasn't too confusing to follow was it? ^^; )

I hope you enjoyed how to make dolly dango^^
