Step 1I bought the chairs from Hobby Lobby. It took me a while to roundup 10 of them, so I recommend ordering online. (Especially if you’re in Houston because I’ve cleaned out the local stores!) There are different models available, but the basic spindle chair is the cheapest by far at $1.99.

Step 2Hot glue them to your base, tilting them around as you go. Tear off the annoying glue strings, or blast it with a hairdryer when you are finished.

Step 3Spray paint away! The unfinished wood required a few coats.

Step 4Add your jewelry, and then…

Step 5The finished product. Wouldn’t it be amazing to make a giant one with about 100 chairs?
