My friend Nibby showed me how to make a really rad scarf out of an old tshirt! It takes about an hour of labor and you will spend maybe $5 maximum.

You Will Need

Step 1First cut a bunch of 5 by 8 inch squares out of the t-shirt.

Step 2Cut tiny slits up the square but leave about an inch at the top.

Step 3Continue along.

Step 4After cutting all the slits, pull the bottom of each strip to streatch it out.

Step 5Once you have as many squares cut and streached as you can out of the t-shirt, tie them together at the end of each strip.

Step 6this is optional but you can dip dye the end of the scarf! I chose black clothing dye!
