Instructions

    You will need one ball of crochet thread, satin ribbon, big sewing needle, thick chain and old beads.

    Wind the thread around a board or something similar to create a thicker yarn for the braid.

    Once you've done that secure the yarn on one side...

    ...and cut through on the other side.

    Now start to make an oval-shaped braid.

    Secure the ends very well and cut off the leftovers.

    Now with the same thread sew the chain onto the upper edge of the braid.

    Attach randomly the beads to the lower edge of the braid.

    Cut 2 satin ribbons and attach each to the ends of the chain. Secure the ends with a cross stitch to give the necklace an even more folkloric look.
